Neck Reset Jig

Had to create an updated neck removal jig for this 1930's Regal tenor reso guitar, as it's a fairly smaller size.  The instrument itself is in petty rough shape, and while the neck itself was loose, it still needed the steam treatment to loosen the glue and the jig to ease the neck off from the body.  It's going to be an interesting project and one that I'm hoping I can straighten the neck enough for fretting, but most likely without an adjustable truss rod it'll probably end up as something that can be played "dobro" style with a raised nut and strings and with a slide.  This is a good cost effective solution to get a playable instrument, but since the "resonator" isn't complete and it's more of a look on this one rather than a full resonator, it doesn't have the vintage value and sound as say an old National or Dobro.

Stay tuned, it'sd coming along nicely.
